Karen Shaw holds a range of positions including consultant, manager, producer, mentor and trustee. Her expertise includes strategic planning; identifying and managing partnerships, budgeting and diversifying income, change management and evaluation. With over 19 years of experience in the arts she has worked across art forms engaging communities and producing cultural experiences with a range of partners.
Karen is a mentor on the Federation of Scottish Theatre’s Step Up programme and board member of Trapeze.
Tracey has worked across the private and public sectors for 25 years including co-ordinating major capital and development destination, tourism and cultural projects across Scotland. Having worked in parallel as consultant to the creative and hospitality sectors, she is passionate about supporting SME entrepreneurs and business owners growth and change.
Board positions have been held at Common Purpose Glasgow and Easterhouse Arts Trading Company generating new members, audiences and income streams in both roles.
Over the years we have worked with some brilliant people and continue to do so as Vis-à-Vis associates. For each project we work with our associates to bring the right balance of skills and experience to the project team. From half a days vital input and advice to an additional team member for the project duration, we work out what the best approach is to give the maximum impact to our client without wasting resources.
