Developing Scotland + Venice 

We worked closely with the steering group that create and manage Scotland’s biennial presentations at both the visual art and architecture Venice Biennales. Our facilitation examined how they could work more closely together to achieve additional investment, share resources and create a joint strategic plan.

Working through their collective ideas, we helped identify the aims, strengths and potential barriers of the group and resources – Creative Scotland, Architecture and Design Scotland, National Galleries of Scotland, British Council and Scottish Government. This 2019 project culminated in a proposal paper for both Boards and Scottish Government to increase national support for Scotland’s presence at this significant international platform.
