We worked closely with the team at DCA on two projects. In 2021, we explored their audiences for recent digital activities, created for and throughout the lockdown periods, seeking the nuance of response and behaviour across printmaking, cinema, online exhibitions, walk-throughs and talks. The resulting research helped inform the team on how to proceed at DCA with programming and marketing their live and digital offering in tandem.
Second, their decade-long success of the youth-focussed Discovery Film Festival which engages Young Ambassadors to help programme and host this much-loved annual event. We helped create a picture of the legacy of their experience in this role to capture the careers, skills and confidence value of this project as well as shaping the Discovery Young Ambassadors programme for the coming festival years.
