We were engaged to manage Stirling’s UK City of Culture 2025 bid, developed as a partnership between Stirling Council and Scene Stirling.
From appointment to bid submission we had 10 weeks to galvanise communities, programme partners, stakeholders and funders to create the bid. We set up sub-groups to explore key elements of the bid including jobs, skills and training; equality, diversity and inclusion and; legacy. We delivered a timeline and engagement plan in our first week to manage multiple agency strategies, responses and ambitions in order to create a robust submission.
Stakeholders included HES, Event Scotland, University of Scotland, Forth Valley College and Scottish Enterprise. The submission went on to inform the new Cultural Strategy for the whole region.
